He’s got Korea’s stamp of approval as a heartthrob in entertainment - actor Kwon Sang-woo! He charms us once again with his movie, “Love so Divine”! Meet him today on Star Focus!

Many people gathered at the movie’s premiere for a special reason~ He not only looks good, he’s witty, too! “Love so Divine” is a sweet love story between Kwon Sang-woo as a priest and Ha Ji-won as a bride-to-be. Kwon Sang-woo, who’s voted as most popular actor his charming demeanor is carried throughout the movie.

In “The Spirit of Jeet Keun Do” he plays a high school student who wants to be like Bruce Lee, discovers love and friendship. With his lean body and perfect physique, who could do a better job of imitating Bruce Lee?

The devotion he has for his job becomes apparent through his sincerity in filming - he even does his own stunts! After the movie, he even picked up the ‘Best Newcomer’ award at the DaeJong Film Festival.

This year will be the four year anniversary of Kwon’s debut. His acting career began with a movie “Volcano High”. He was cast by a director who had the foresight of Kwon’s talent for acting. Then he was in the movie “Make it Big” with actor Song Seung-heon. Kwon didn’t have a large role, but audiences remembered him well for his lean body. The next movie pushed his popularity over the edge - “Tutoring A Friend” rose Kwon to stardom as over 5,000,000 people came to watch it in theaters! It seems like he was an overnight success, but Kwon’s had his share of troubles. (It may seem like the road to acting was paved with gold for Kwon, but he’s had his share of troubles.)

He’s got the height, the looks, and the body. Kwon Sang-woo is a trendsetter and favorite for people of all ages, putting him at number one on everyone’s contact list!

After making it big in the movies, he moved onto the small screen. He starred in the TV drama “Stairs to Heaven”, co-starring Choi Ji-woo. After it’s top ratings and enormous popularity in Korea, the TV drama was exported all over Asia at one of the highest prices.

His popularity is exploding in every direction! But it won’t stop there - We look forward to what actor Kwon Sang-woo will show us next!
